For decades, Richard Galliano has conjured up sounds from the accordion that no one would believe possible. Flirting with tango, salsa, chanson, and classical music – causing a sensation with a synthesis of elements of jazz and the traditional waltz of the Parisian suburbs. In 1985,’Splee’ was his first ‘New Musette’ album. This he is celebrating with us in the theatre marquee with a tour de force through 30 years ‘Musette à la Galliano’. And with this opportunity he brings along his friends and companions: Philip Catherine, jazz legend on guitar, Philippe Aerts Belgian double bassist and drummer Hans van Oosterhout.
