Concert – ensemble provocale düsseldorf & düsseldorf festival! orchestra

27. September 6:00 am

Although every secret surrounding Mozart’s Requiem, his last, unfinished popular opus, has since come to light, to this day it still holds, with its bleak basset horn sounds, furious tone paintings and spectacular tutti-passages, a beautiful and haunting fascination. Frank Martin’s final opus, also his last, the canata, “Et la vie l’emporta’ intuitively serves in its poignant simplicity, after the eight bars of the Lacrimosa, when Mozart’s handwriting suddenly ceased to be, as a kind of commentary. Musical conductor is Sebastian Voge, the soloists are Anke Krabbe, Franziska Orendi, Wolfgang Klose and Christian Palm.

With kind support from the Auferstehungskirche Düsseldorf
