Concert – The Andreas Church Choir and Orchestra

11. September 8:00 am

Essentially, this concert is an homage to the clever conductor and inspiring pedagogue Ulrich Ball, who from the beginning of our festival, up until his death last year, was indispensable amongst our ranks. “The Highest Triumph of instrumental composition” he would have muttered of Mozart’s Jupiter Symphony. And Beethoven’s Mass in C major, unconventional but still faithfully trusting in God’s grace, he always loved anyway. The same goes for the performers: Martin Fratz at the conductor’s stand and Anke Krabbe, Katharina von Bülow, Wolfgang Klose and Sebastian Klein as soloists.

With kind support from the St. Andreas Church

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart – Symphony No. 41 C-major, KV 551 („Jupitersinfonie“)
Ludwig van Beethoven – Mass C-major, op. 86
