His works – be it pictures, photography or videos – stretch to great measures, go around corners and seem simply endless. So which projection surface could be possibly more suitable for Kanjo Také other than that of the white wall of the Festival Marquee? And so it really didn’t take much persuasion to win the renowned Japanese – German visual artist for a joint project. Magic and the power of imagination are the threads of this work “Ghostnight – Magic and Imagination” that, from September 10, will show pictures of moving sculptures and transparent, multi – layered lasers, in wide ranging, shining, composed visions of the everyday world. Enormous, colourful ‘bubbles’ will then rise as if by magic from the surface of the projection into the heavens. And as a special treat for the observer: if you catch for of the balloons, you could find vouchers attached, in which case you will have won tickets for the festival. All happy winners will be most welcome at the box office.
The projection on the exterior of the Festival Marquee can be seen every evening during the festival (10 – 28.9) from 9pm. The Balloons will be released on Wed 10, Sat 13 and Fri 19.9.
