Möbius

The French company XY from Lille stands for a daring mixture of acrobatics, dance and poetry. In other words: for the New Circus, which crosses the borders to other genres. With the choreographer Rachid Ouramdane, the nineteen artists have developed an athletic choreographic language that finds plastic images for the field of tension between the individual and the group. Between individuality and swarm intelligence, it is all about the courage to express differences. "Möbius" reveals the unique character of each person on stage and describes the conflicting but also joyful path of each individual to his or her place in the group.
