The theatre collective Pièrre.Vers traces the events of 16th and 17th April 1945 with the performative memory Aktion:Aktion! The Allies are at the gates of the city, Hitler imposes his "Nero Order", the fight to the last man demands the death sentence over Düsseldorf. But a dozen men go into active resistance with "Aktion Rheinland". They occupy the police headquarters and make their way to the Americans to negotiate the handover of the city without a fight. At the historical location, the past meets the present: The performance takes place open air in the courtyard of the police headquarters, the audience is connected to the protagonists via headphone system.
